In the 2013 cycling season Adrian Kurek will be racing in CCC Polsat Polkowice team. The cyclist currently is representing Utensilnord-Named team.
The composition of the assembly of cyclists on the 2013 cycling season, management of MKS Polkowice decided to sign a contract with 24-year-old cyclist, who started his career in the current season racing in Utensilnord-Named team. He had began his career as a cyclist in ALKS Stal Grudziądz and then raced in the amateur clubs in France, Albi Velo Sport (2010) and Oceane Cycle Poitevin (2011).
He is a very talented cyclist and he knows what the cycling is about – Piotr Wadecki, Sports Director of CCC Polsat Polkowice, said. Polish cycling fans probably best remember Adrian from Tour de Pologne. It was during this prestigious ProTour race of the series, Adrian became twice the most active cyclist of the race. In 2010, as the Polish national team cyclist and the following year as a player of Utensilnord-Named. He is brave and very ambitious cyclist and being twice the most active cyclist in the Tour de Pologne, with the leaders of the world’s peloton is irrefutable proof.
Adrian Kurek is great part of my concept of organization CCC Polsat Polkowice team which next season will be cycling as Professional Continental team, so we made a decision about the signing of the contract with him.
Adrian Kurek does not have too many spectacular achievements on his credit, but he is a cyclist who can boast of Vice title of Polish Champion U-23 in the individual time (2009) as well as victory in the Route de l’Atlantique (2009). In 2011, during the Małopolski Wyścig Górski took fourth place in a general classification and also won a stage at the Tour de Gironde, and was taking 14th place in the general classification.
