Patryk Stosz sprinted into top 10 on flat stage 2 of Bałtyk – Karkonosze Tour, held around Zbąszynek.
Info: May 17th, Zbąszynek – Zbąszynek, 120,8km
For the second day straight, tailwind was the force that drove the peloton. The average speed was again up through the roof”, as it reached 47-48km/h. At such speed it was impossible to break clear and this time a breakaway of the day never emerged in the front.
It was all together while entering the finishing circuits around Zbąszynek. There were five laps to cover in the finale and they didn’t change much in terms of breaking field apart. Everything was decided in a bunch gallop and it was won by Jeremy Lendowski (Triebwerk-Energy CT). He outsprinted Jonas Rusch (Team LOTTO – Kern Haus) and Yoeri Havik (Vlasman Cycling Team).
Patryk Stosz was the team’s top finisher, as he took 9th place.
