As soon as tomorrow, 4.04 (Thursday) CCC Polsat Polkowice team will start the clasic race Grand Prix Pino Cerami. Race will take place in Belgium and has a UCI category 1.1.
Today 8 cyclists from CCC Polsat Polkowoce went to Belgium. They will take part in the classic race of the Grand Prix Pino Cerami (UCI Cat, 1.1). Team sports director, Robert Krajewski called for this race team composed of Pawel Charucki, Piotr Gawronski, Tomasz Kiendyś, Jacek Morajko, Lukasz Owsian, Marek Rutkiewicz, Gregorz Stępniak and Mateusz Taciak.
GP Pino Cerami race is the race which a rich tradition in Belgium. Is held continuously since 1964 with the sole exception of 2009, when the race was canceled. Classic GP Pino CERMI is organized in honor of former professional cyclist Giuseppe Pino Ceramiego who as a young boy he moved from Italy to Belgium and the whole fighting career he represented the country. It currently has more than 90 years old and lives in his mansion in the south of Belgium, where among other things, the route takes classic.
Riders will compete in the small town of Saint Ghislain and after driving route length of 208 km will finish in the town of Frameries. On the route of the race for cyclists there are two fairly stiff climbs, where the mountains are located bonuses. One of them is cat.1 (Hurdumont a Flobecq), while the other cat.2 (Burght and Bever).
According to the organizers, the start of the race will be 24 teams in the eight-bed configurations including the World Tour team (Lotto BELISOL, Euskatel Eskudi, Movistar, Vacansolei).
