Two Polish “classics” will be held in the upcoming weekend – Henryk Lasak Memorial and Puchar Uzdrowisk Karpackich. CCC Polsat Polkowice will be represented by 8-man team. Most of them raced in Tour de Pologne.
First of two one-day races will be Henryk Lasak Memorial (cat. 1.2 UCI) which goes around Sucha Beskidzka. The total distance to cover will be 182,8 kilometers. First part of the course consist of small 5 laps in Sucha Beskidzka and later the peleton will ride through Zembrzyce, Tarnawa Dolna, Sleszowice, Tarnawa Gorna, Krzeszow and Stryszawa.
Teams from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Ukraine, Latvia and Netherland announced their participation.
The roster of CCC Polsat Polkowice: Adrian Honkisz, Tomasz Marczynski, Lukasz Owsian, Maciej Paterski, Marek Rutkiewicz, Branislau Samoilau, Grzegorz Stepniak and Mateusz Taciak.
The next day (17of of August) the riders will race in Subcarpathia region, at the „Puchar Uzdrowisk Karpackich” (cat. 1.2 UCI). The route will be very demanding and hilly. There will be 161km to ride from Jedlicz, through Zarnowiec, Poraj, Podniebyle, Kroscienko Wyżne, Haczow, Iwonicz Zdroj, Cergowa, Tylawa with the finish in Rymanowa Zdroj.
On the startline there will be around 150 riders from the same teams that took part in the Henryk Lasak Memorial. CCC Polsat Polkowice will send the same 8-man line up that raced the day before.
