CCC Polsat Polkowice was invited to the race Tour of Turkey

CCC Polsat Polkowice team was invited to participate in the race – Tour of Turkey.

In the cycling season 2013, team CCC Polsat Polkowice , which starts as a Professional Continental Team, has already received many invitations to participate very important race of the UCI calendar. Recently, team’s sporting director Piotr Wadecki announced as that, the team was invited to take part in the 49 edition of the race – Tour of Turkey.

Race is the highest category of UCI (2 HC), will go on 21-28 April this year. Cyclists will begin in Alanya racing, located on the Turkish Riviera on the Mediterranean Sea to finish eight days later in Istanbul. The total route of the race is 1,173 km.

During this year’s race very difficult stage was added to the program, which ends with a finish at the top of Elmali (1850 m above sea level)

The route of the Tour of Turkey 2013:

21.04, stage 1 – Alanya – Alanya, 135 km,

22.04, stage 2 – Alanya – Antalya, 153 km,

23.04, stage 3 – Antalya – Elmali, 152 km (finish at the top of Elmali)

24.04, stage 4 – Fethiye – Marmaris, 132 km,

25.04, stage 5 – Marmaris – Turgutreis, 178 km,

26.04, stage 6 – Bodrum – Kusadasi, 179 km,

27.04, stage 7 – Kusadasi – Izmir, 124 km,

28.04, stage 8 – Istanbul – Istanbul, 121 km,

I am very happy that in the calendar of our starts in season 2013, the Tour of Turkey appears – Piotr Wadecki said. This is a very difficult and demanding race as evidenced by the category 2 HC. I hope that CCC Polsat Polkowice team, which has already started the first season in Argentina, from race to race will be in better and better shape and will fight successfully with the best riders of the world peloton.
