After 11-day break from racing, CCC Sprandi Polkowice is returning to competition in Tour of Małopolska. In the six-man lineup there is one rider, who has completed Giro d’Italia.
The roster for the Tour of Małopolska includes two U23 riders – Patryk Stosz, who won last edition of Polish Cup and Piotr Brożyna. Also Tomasz Kiendyś, Adrian Kurek, Baltyk-Karkonosze Tour winner, Leszek Pluciński and Giro d’Italia finisher, Łukasz Owsian will be competing in the three-day event.
If you look at the profiles of the stages it’s really hard to predict how the race will unfold. The riders have to be very focused and present in every move, since everyday a breakaway may arrive at the finish. We have few riders who like to ride aggressively but also riders who are able to set a high pace in the bunc, when it’s needed – Piotr Wadecki, sporting director of CCC Sprandi Polkowice, said. – Leszek Pluciński has been strong for the last few weeks and we hope that he will maintain his form and perform well in this race. It’s hard to say how Łukasz Owsian will feel after three weeks of racing in Italy, but he is a very ambitious riders and will definitely give 100 percent.

Traditionally the race is preceded by the Złoty Pierścień Krakowa Criterium, which has been won numerous of times by Tomasz Kiendyś.
