CCC Sprandi Polkowice continue the Benelux campaign, with Veenendaal-Veenendaal Classic (22.08) and Great War Remembrance Race (24.08).
The lineup for these events will be gently modified comparing to Tuesday’s GP Stad Zottegem, as the only substitiution will include Łukasz Owsian being replaced by Frantisek Sisr. Czech showed in the spring, that he can perform in Dutch races. He won Ronde van Drenthe and is mentioned among the favorites for top places.
The rest of the “orange squad” – Jonas Koch, Paweł Bernas, Paweł Franczak, Michał Paluta, Kamil Gradek and Marko Kump – are all in race rhythm and every single one of them is capable of delivering good result for the team.
Veenendaal-Veenendaal Classic takes place in the Netherlands, so it features undulating terrain, countless roundabouts, road furniture and narrow streets. There are 191km ahead of the riders and in finale they will tackle 2,5 laps around Veenendaal (one lap is 32km long). Usually the race ends with a field sprint, but 2014 edition showed, that a breakaway has their chances too.
Wyścig Great War Remembrance Race wil be held for the first time and will mark 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The course will run through West Flanders, so cobblestone sectors and punchy climbs are expected. This event is organized by the same company that organizes Gent-Wevelgem, so exciting racing is guaranteed.

*** Update: Due to a crash, which Michał Paluta was involved in GP Stad Zottegem, and sustained cuts and bruises, he will not take part in Veenendaal-Veenendaal Classic. On Thursday it will be determine whether he participates in Great War Remembrance Race or not.
