Erik Baska wins in the first cycle of Vsegrad 4Bicycle Race

With the victory of Slovak Erik Baska (Dukla Trencin Trek) has finished the first race in the series of Visegrad 4 Bicycle Race. Mateusz Nowak (CCC Polsat Polkowice) has finished in ninth place.

To the first cycle of Visegrad 4Bicycle Race team od CCC Polsat Polkowice cyclists has joined with composed of Tomasz Kiendyś, Bartłomiej Matysiak, Nikolay Mihaylov, Mateusz Nowak, Branisalu Samoilau i Mateusz Taciak.

The riders had to overcome route length of 170 km from Polkowice to Wroclaw. The route ran mostly on flat ground but in the first part of it were two not so challenging uphills IKurów Mały and Grębocice), where set the mountain bonuses. After their defeat them cycling peloton led by Ścinawa,vWołów, Oborniki Śląskie until Wroclaw where at the Stadium was situated the finish line.

Although the peloton “let go” a ten escapees in which rode a representative of the ‘orange’, Branislau Samoilau, to the finish line in Wroclaw drove the wholepeloton. Escape was liquidated before the entrance to Wroclaw and about a victory in a race decided mass sprint.
The best was a Slovak, Erik Baska (Dukla Trencin Trek), who defeated Czech Jiri Hochmann (Dukla Praha) and Artur Detka (Mexller).
The best cyclist of CCC Polsat Polkowice turn out to be Mateusz Nowak, who finished in 9th place.
