Adrian Honkisz (CCC Polsat Polkowice) won the Carpathia Couriers Paths (Karpacki Wyścig Kurierów), during which he represented the national team of Poland. The second place in the general classification was taken by his team-mate Kamil Zieliński and Siarhei Sakavets from the representation of Belarus was third.
For Adrian Honkisz the Couriers race turned out to be really successful. As early as after the third stage of the race, from Sromowce Niżne to Jabłonki, Adrian finished the quickest which entitled him to wear the leader’s jersey, which he did not surrender until the end of the race. In the next, fourth stage, which led along the roads of Slovakia from Stara Bystrica to Dohńany, Honkisz stood on the first position of the podium again and this way he strengthened his position of the leader of the race. In the general classification he outstripped his team-mate Kamil Zieliński and Siarhei Sakavets (Belarus). .
The last stage around the Slovak place called Dohńany, 120 km long, did not see any bigger changes in the general classification and thus Adrian Honkisz became its winner. At the same time he became the winner of the points general classification of the race.
This was a really good race for another cyclist from the team of CCC Polsat Polkowice, Kamil Zieliński, who completed the race in the second place of the general classification.
