Jacek Morajko is leaving CCC Polsat Polkowice.

As we informed on15 September this year, the new formed composition of the CCC Polsat Polkowice team gained the present Champion of Poland Jacek Morajko, who signed the contract with the Club for a year, to take part in races of the cycling season of 2011.

Many teams, also from abroad, attempted to sign the contract with Jacek Morajko, one of the best Polish cyclists in the season of 2010. The most favourable conditions were proposed by the team of CCC Polsat Polkowice and it is with this club, that he signed the contract. However, recently Jacek Morajko has received another, very interesting offer from the cycling team applying in the 2011 season for the status of a Pro Tour status. In connection with that fact, he asked Mr Dariusz Miłek – the main sponsor of the team – to agree to cancelling the contract with the Polkowice team. After long and exhausting negotiations Mr Dariusz Miłek, unwilling to stop further sports development and cycling career of Jacek Morajko, acceded to his request and agreed to cancel the important contract with the team of CCC Polsat Polkowice.

I am really grateful to Mr Dariusz Miłek, for the fact that he agreed to cancel my contract with the CCC Polsat Polkowice team – said Jacek Morajko. It was very important to me to continue the development of my cycling career in a Pro Tour team. Although the earlier signed contract with CCC was really favourable to me, I care much about my further improvement, and starting in great races among Pro Tour teams will be helpful to me in it. And such arguments convinced Mr Miłek, for which once again I wish to thank him very much.
