Janiszewski 19th in Ronde van Drenthe

The information given in cycling news services that Sylwester Janiszewski did not complete the first stage of Ronde van Drenthe turned out to be untrue. Not only did the representative of CCC Polsat Polkowice continue riding, but what is more, he completed the rivalry as the best of the team, taking the 19th place during stage 2. Eventually, Janiszewski took the 21st place in the general classification.

In the second stage, which was won again by Kenny van Hummel (Skil-Shimano), Janiszewski took the 19th position, 4 seconds behind the winner. Behind van Hummelem there were Danilo Napolitano (Acqua & Sapone) and Sacha Modolo (Colnago-CSF Inox).
