Tomasz Kiendyś (CCC Polsat Polkowice) came in 2nd in the one-day race – Puchar Burmistrza Wyszkowa. Jaroslaw Kowalczyk (BDC MarcPol) claimed the victory.
67 riders, from professional and amateur teams, arrived to Wyszkow to compete in the first edition of the race. Among them there were also riders from Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. 112 flat kilometers was the distance for the day.
After the series of attacks, around 40-man group was established at the front of the race. The main field stretched out on the final lap in Wyszkow and Jaroslaw Kowalczyk attacked to take the solo win. 8 seconds back Tomasz Kiendys (CCC Polsat Polkowice) crossed the line and outsprinted Patrik Tybor (Dukla Trencin). Another “orange”, Nikolay Mihaylov rider came in 4th 24 seconds behind the winner. One more CCC Polsat Polkowice rider was present in the Top 10 – Mateusz Nowak was 9th.
