Trio of CCC Sprandi Polkowice finished Polish National Championship time trial in top 10, with Adrian Kurek claiming 6th place.
In total six “riders in orange” took on the race agains the clock held near the Grunwald Field – Mateusz Taciak, Kamil Gradek, Szymon Sajnok, Adrian Kurek, Patryk Stosz and Alan Banaszek. They had 33km on the menu, which consisted of three 11km laps. They were quite flat, but what made the racing hard was strong wind blowing from different directions.
Adrian Kurek was the first CCC Sprandi Polkowice rider to tackle the course. He came into the race with positive mindset since just few days prior he had been 11th in ITT at Tour of Slovenia. He again put on a solid performance and clocked 40:09. At the time he was 2nd and maintained that spot until the last round of riders.
At the end of the day Kurek took 6th place, 1:40 behind the winning result of Maciej Bodnar. Mateusz Taciak set 8th best time, 2:13 back, while Szymon Sajnok rounded out top 10 (+2:21).
Marcin Białobłocki and Michał Kwiatkowskie time trialed to the Polish Championship podium.
