Marczyński best in Sobótka

Tomasz Marczyński from CCC Polsat Polkowice won during the race “Ślężański Mnich” – XVI Memorial of Romana Ręgorowicz in Sobótka that traditionally starts the cycling season in Poland. In the final struggle for the second place Tomasz Smoleń (CCC Polsat Polkowice) defeated Błażej Janiaczyk (Mróz Active Jet).

In the elite race from the very beginning the cyclists of CCC Polsat Polkowice were noticeable. In Sobótka the whole line-up of the team was present. Piotr Wadecki’s racers were riding very actively, taking part in almost every breakaway. The cyclists of other teams – among others Mróz Aktive Jet, the main competitors of CCC Polsat Polkowice – also attempted to break away.

The result of the race was settled, when Tomasz Marczyński from CCC Polsat Polkowice riding up for the last lap, attacked on his own, covering lonely the last of the eight laps and becoming the winner of the race. The fight for the second place was won by the sprint cyclist Tomasz Smoleń from the CCC team, who defeated Błażej Janiaczyk (Mróz Active Jet)
