Bartłomiej Matysiak took 13th place after a bunch sprint finish in Memoriał Henryka Łasaka.
The race around Sucha Beskidzka was controlled by the bunch. Numerous riders were trying to create a gap, but the peloton was making sure that the escapees’ advantage is never to wide. Among most aggressive cyclists were CCC Sprandi Polkowice representatives – Łukasz Owsian, Adrian Honkisz, or Bartłomiej Matysiak.
After the halfway point a 15-man group emerged in the front, and Tomasz Kiendyś was involved in that action. They established a 50-second lead, but were reeled in with 15 kilometers to go.
Stretched group entered the finale of the race and it all ended with a battle of the sprinters. Czech Alois Kankovsky (Whirlpool-Author) was the fastest man on the line and took the win. He outsprinted Vitaliy Buts (Kolss-BDC) and Andrei Solomennikov (RusVelo). Bartłomiej Matysiak was the team’s top finisher and claimed 13th place. Also Tomasz Kiendyś made the top 20 – was 16th.
