“Oranges” ready to start in Tour of Norway

Tomorrow (Wednesday, 21.05.) starts 16th edition of the cycling race Tour of Norway. In the race will take part team CCC Polsat Polkowice.

In the days of 21-25.05. riders CCC Polsat Polkowice will compete on the roads around Oslo during a race the Tour of Norway (UCI Cat 2.HC). At the race in Norway team sporting director Piotr Wadecki appointed a team composed of Adrian Kurek, Jaroslaw Marycz, Bartlomiej Matysiak, Maciej Paterski, Marek Rutkiewicz and Branislau Samoilau.

The riders will have to overcome the route with a total length of 1,155.9 km, which is divided into five stages. Route of individual stages is very diverse. The first two steps lead to the slightly hilly areas and probably sprinters will have fought on it. The remaining stages are already mountain stages with quite difficult climbs including the one stage ends with a finish at the uphill.

The organizers i nformat the start of the Tour of Norway will be 18 cycling teams in the six-formations among them three crews World Tour: Katusha with Alexander Kristoff, Belkin Pro Cycling Team with Bauke Mollema and with Lars Petter Nordhaug and Team Tinkoff – Saxo with Daniele Benatt and Marco Kump. With pro continental teams will start Caja Rural, IAM Cycling, Rusvelo, MTN Qhubeka, Wanty, Topsport Vlaanderen – Baloise, UnitedHealthcare and CCC Polsat Polkowice.
