Quinghai Lake: a drawn stage, Taciak third in GC.

The cyclist of Tabriz Petrochemical Team, Mehdi Sohrabi became the winner of the 7th stage of Tour of Qinghai Lake. In the home stretch he defeated his companions from the break-away: Matij Kvasina and Estifanos Kebeda Gebresilassie. In the general classification Mateusz Taciak is still in the third place.

During the seventh day of competing in the race Tour of Quinghai Lake, the cyclists had a distance of 170 kilometres to ride, from Qilian to Menyuan. The cyclists imposed a very quick pace of the ride from the very beginning, obtaining at the finishing line the average speed of 45.7 km/h. There were a lot of breakaways and attempts to break-away, unsuccessful though. Among those trying their chances was Marek Rutkiewicz (CCC Polsat Polkowice). However, he was not successful.

The first to reach the finishing line was a group of four cyclists, out of whom the quickest to finish was an Iranian cyclist Sohrabi. The second place was for Matija Kvasina (Loborika Favorit Team), the third one was Estifanos Kebede Gebresilassie (Marco Polo Cycling Team). The peloton, 28 seconds after the leader, was brought by Sacha Modolo (Colnago CSF-Inox). Błażej Janiaczyk (CCC Polsat Polkowice) was the 16th.

In the general classification, Gregor Gazvoda (Perutnina-Ptuj) is 4 seconds better than Dmitrij Gruzev (the Representation of Kazakhstan) and 1 minute 2 seconds better than Mateusz Taciak (CCC Polsat Polkowice).
