The Italian Sacha Modolo from the Colnago CSF – Inox team became the winner of the last, ninth, stage of the Tour of Quinghai Lake race. Mateusz Taciak completed the race in the 3rd place in the general classification.
The last day of racing in China was a short, 94-kilometre-long stage in Lanzhou. The young Italian Modolo turned out to be the best, defeating Boris Shpilevsky (Tabriz Petrochemical Team) and Jacobe Keough (UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling). The best position among the Polish racers was taken by Sylwester Janiszewski (CCC Polsat Polkowice), who finished in the 15th place.
The winner of the whole race is the Slovenian cyclist Gregor Gazvoda. He is better by 4 seconds than the cyclist from Kazakhstan, Dmitry Gruzdev. In the third position, 1 minute 2 seconds behind the leader there is a cyclist of CCC Polsat Polkowice, Mateusz Taciak.
CCC Polsat Polkowice became the second team of the race.
