The selector of the National Team, Piotr Wadecki, has made his final decision about the composition of the elite for the held in Copenhagen world championships in road cycling. Into that composition Marek Rutkiewicz (CCC Polsat Polkowice) has been appointed.
On Sunday 25 September at the world championships in Copenhagen the last race will be held which will show the winner, who will ride in the rainbow jersey during the 2012 season. In that massed-start race the national team of Poland will appear in the six-rider composition.
During the last few days the selector of the national team, Piotr Wadecki, has made a change in the line-up of the team, replacing Jarosław Marycz (Saxo Bank) with a reserve rider Marek Rutkiewicz (CCC Polsat Polkowice).
Ultimately, the composition of the National Team of Poland to ride in the mass-start race will be as follows: Maciej Bodnar, Maciej Paterski (obaj Liquigas), Michał Kwiatkowski (Radioshack), Bartosz Huzarski (Team NetApp), Michał Gołaś (Vacansoleil) and Marek Rutkiewicz (CCC Polsat Polkowice).
In the individual time trial (Wednesday 21 September) the following cyclists will ride: Michał Kwiatkowski and Maciej Bodnar.
