The winner of the first Stage Race Solidarity and the Olympians was Vitalij Popkov (ISD Continental). At the finish line ahead of fellow Krosno escape Jonas Koch (LKT Brandenburg) and Jiri Hudeck (Bauknecht-Author).
The first, more than 230-kilometer stage 24 edition of the Race of Solidarity and the Olympians riders took off from Lublin. The route ran mostly on flat areas and only in the last 50 kilometers before the finish in Krosno, the first of the toughest climbs in Castle Kamieniec.
