Stephen Cummings wins Tour Mediterraneen. Rebellin 14th

Jean-Christophe Peraud (AG2R) won 5th stage with the uphill at Mont-Faron. Davide Rebellin finished in 11th place. The final classification of the Tour Méditerranéen triumphed Stephen Cummings.

During the last day of competition at the Tour Méditerranéen (kat.2.1) cyclists had to ride a length of 192.7 km route that led from Bandol to Toulon. It was the most difficult of the five stages of the French ride, because on its relatively long route there were situated three mountain bonuses and profile of the entire route was heavily hilly. The hardest part was the final stage of the 5.5-kilometer uphill to the finish situated at Mont-Faron with max. the gradient of 9%.
