Maciej Paterski retained his leader jersey, clocking 4th best time in race against the clock, stage 2 of Szlakiem Walk Majora Hubala (2.1).

How it unfolded?
As the race leader, Maciej Paterski was the last man to tackle nearly 15-kilometer time trial. He knew the results of his opponents and knew what pace he needed to maintain to defend the jersey. He covered the course in 17:37, recording 4th place. He was just 13 seconds down on stage winner, Kamil Zieliński (Domin). One Pro Cycling’s Kamil Gradek and Thomas Baylis rounded out the podium.
After the stage Paterski leads the overall standings with 12-second advantage over Zieliński. Karol Domagalski who claimed 5th place in TT is 30 seconds back, in 3rd.
Outside of Paterski also Łukasz Owsian, another Giro d’Italia participant, showcased solid TT skills, taking 8th place, while Piotr Brożyna finished 17th and maintained his youth classification jersey. Paterski leads points classification as well and the “orange squad” the team classification.
Stage 3 around Tomaszów Mazowiecki, which was supposed to be held in the evening, was cancelled.
