On Sunday, Feb. 24 in Spain, Team CCC Polsat Polkowice will start in the next race. This time, cyclists will compete in the race Clasica de Almeria (category 1 HC).
After one day struggles of CCC Polsat Polkowice in the Vuelta Ciclista a la Region of Murcia race the next Spanish race is waiting for the CCC cyclist . It will be typical the highest category UCI race (1 HC) race, on the 182.3 kilometer route from Almeria to Roquetas de Mar. Wyścig Clasica de Almeria as a race Vuelta Murcia have very big tradition in Spain. This year will be the 28th edition.
The route this year is not the most difficult, in spite of three mountain bonuses (two Cat 3 and one cat.2) are waiting for riders to overcome. For the first 75 km of the race route is extremely flat goes along the Mediterranean coast. Next 70 km route enter into the land, in the mountainous terrain, where they traversed three mountain bonuses.
Last 45 km of route is again a flat area along the coast with the finish line located on a small, 400 meter driveway in Roquetas de Mar.
In the race will start 14 teams with the eight-person team formations WorldTour (Movistar, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Astana, Vacansolei, Cofidis). There will start many great athletes in the majority of those who took part in the Vuelta a Murcia.
