Tomorrow, 5 June (Tuesday) the team of CCC Polsat Polkowice is starting competition at the Tour de Slovaquie race. The race consists of five stages and ends on 9 June.
The CCC Polsat Polkowice team will start with a line-up of six riders, who was appointed by the sporting director Piotr Wadecki as follows: Paweł Charucki, Adrian Honkisz, Sylwester Janiszewski, Nikolay Mihaylov, Łukasz Owsian and Marek Rutkiewicz.
The race around Slovakia belongs to races of great traditions, because this year the 56th edition will be held. In the recent years the race has been included in the calendar of UCI Europa Tour with the 2.2 category. It is a very difficult race, where most of the stages leads through the mountains. In this edition the riders are going to start with racing along the routes (3 stages) around Liptovski Mikulasz, in quite difficult mountains, at the foot of the Slovak Tatra mountains. The last two stages are easier stretches, along routes in flat areas around Bratislava.
In the Tour de Slovaquie race another Polish team is also going to take part: BGŻ Team.

Stage 5, Bratislava – Vodné dielo Gabčíkovo (135.4 km)
While one part of the CCC Polsat Polkowice team is racing along the roads of Slovakia, another part of the ‘orange’ team, led by Robert Krajewski, is leaving for France for the ‘Ronde de L’Oise’ race, that will be held from 7 to 10 June.
The CCC Polsat Polkowice team is going to France as follows: Piotr Gawroński, Tomasz Kiendyś, Bartłomiej Matysiak, Grzegorz Stępniak, Mateusz Taciak and Kamil Zieliński.
