On 6-10.02. CCC Polsat Polkowice team will take part in the French time trial, Tour de Mediterraneen.
Yesterday (Monday) ended up lasting from the beginning of January grouping rider-training Fitness and CCC. For the Polish riders back who participated in the race in Argentina, and the eight-person team with the director. Robert Krajewski sports travels to France for the next race, “Tour de Mediterraneen” UCI category 2.1.
Race will take place in the south of France on the slopes bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Riders will compete for five stages which is the most difficult stage of the fourth, ending uphill driveway Monte Faron. During the second stage the riders will compete on a 24-kilometer time trial, where the trail leads uphill tight.
Race is very much planted, because it will take part in the 10 ProTour teams, 9 teams ProContinental and 2 French Continental team. On the loss of the Tour de Mediterraneen there will be many great players, including Thomas Voeckler (Team Europcar), Thor Hushovd (BMC Racing Team), Roman Kreuziger (Team Saxo-Tinkoff), sprinter Andre Greipel (Lotto BELISOL), Jose Azvedo (Radioshack Track Leopard) and also for the first time in the colors of the ‘orange’ Davide Rebellin.
The team will travel CCC Polsat Polkowice composed of Davide Rebellin, Thomas Kiendyś, Matthew Taciak, Paul Charucki, Piotr Gawronski, Adrian Honkisz, Luke Owsian and Nikolay Mihaylov.
We are counting on Davide Rebelina who wants to fight for the race – informs sports director, Robert Krajewski. Davide knows the route which leads the race and one of the toughest stages of the run near his residence.All players who will be participating in the race are healthy and ready for his first race season.
