Tomorrow, Thursday 5.09. CCC Polsat Polkowice team will start in the Italian Settimana Lombarda Ciclistica by Bergamasca.
On 5-7.09., In the Italian province of Lombardy, will be held a three-stage cycling race Settimana Lombarda Ciclistica to Bergamasca. It will be the 42 edition of the race, which has a huge tradition of cycling in the environment and at the same time it is a race where for many years the Polish riders compete.
This year, the race consists of three stages.
On the first day the riders will be competing on the route length of 168 km, most of which goes to the very flat terrain on the laps around Brembate. After defeating nine rounds around the city of cyclists will begin the final climb to the finish which was set at quite a difficult uphill Valtorta (935 m)
The next day, the race, the riders will race for a similar scenario as the first day. After starting the pack of Boltiere, riders will have to deal with a length of 153 km, ending a difficult climb to the finish in the famous ski resort Foppolo at an altitude of 1508 m above sea level
Lastly, the third stage of the race, with Gorle to Bergamo, length 160 km, leading to the slightly hilly areas with a mountain premium category 3 Meta final stage in Bergamo located on a small driveway
