We know the line-up of the CCC Polsat Polkowice team for the inauguration of the season in Sobótka. The ‘orange’ team is going to enter eleven riders and, as Piotr Wadecki said, it will be hard to win.
The sporting director Piotr Wadecki, to whom we talked right after the arrival from the training camp in Spain, said the naszosie.pl portal:
The team is well prepared, and the race in Sobótka is a prestigious event. Regarding the fact that it is the opening of the season, all teams will come with their best line-ups. We started the preparations with a month’s delay. I would say, it will be very hard to win, BDC and BGŻ are very strong this season, we will rather sit quiet at the back and wait for the events to develop. The best ones have left the team: Marczyński, Morajko and Schulze and you can see they are doing very well. They are developing themselves and although I feel a bit sad about their leaving, I am proud that it is in CCC that they had risen their sporting level
This year we have a very young line-up, and each victory this year will be a success for us. Our aim is to prepare Marek Rutkiewicz to start in TdP, and Owsian and Gawroński for the U-23 Championships of Europe, and U-23 World Championships.
The CCC Polsat Polkowice composition for the Saturday criterium in Dzierżoniów and the Sunday ‘Ślężański Mnich’:
