At the weekend, 16-17 June, a two-stage race will be held included in the cycle of BGŻ ProLiga – the 22nd Memorial of J.Grundman and J.Wizowski.
After a three-week break in cyclists’ competing within BGŻ ProLiga another race starts whose points will count for the general classification. This time the riders are going to fight in a race consisting of two stages, held along roads in the neighbourhood of Głogów. The route of both stages is mostly flat with two little uphill stretches in Grodowiec and Kurów Mały, which definitely favours sprint cyclists in the fight for the victory in the race.
The first stage of the race will be held along a circuitous route around Grodowiec (5 laps 27.6 km each = 138 km). On the next day the riders will race along a route from Głogów to Grębocice, whose length is 134.5 kilometres.
At the starting line of the race all Polish professional and amateur cycling clubs are going to stand, whose riders are fighting for points for BGŻ ProLiga, also there will be riders from Germany (Nutrixxon Team) and the Chech Republic (Dukla Praga).
The team of CCC Polsat Polkowice is going to race in the following composition: Dariusz Batek, Paweł Charucki, Piotr Gawroński, Adrian Honkisz, Sylwester Janiszewski, Tomasz Kiendyś, Nikolay Mihaylov, Bartłomiej Matysiak, Łukasz Owsian, Mateusz Taciak, Marek Rutkiewicz, Grzegorz Stępniak and Kamil Zieliński.
