Nearly 90 cyclists from the elite and the U-23 categories stood at the starting line of the 21st Memorial of Grundmann and Wizowski in Grodowiec. There were no surprises, the game was dictated by the cyclists of CCC Polsat Polkowice, who took the first five places. The winner was Mateusz Taciak.
In very hard weather conditions, in very strongly blowing wind the cyclists rode a route of 125-kilometre-long criterium. The cyclists had 5 laps to ride, each of them was 25 km long, and the route was not an easy one. At the starting line there were cyclists from professional teams (CCC Polsat Polkowice, BGŻ Team) and also U-23 riders from TKK Pacific Toruń, TC Chrobry Głogów, for whom that was a race for points for the Cup of Poland.
The race was controlled by the ‘orange’ cyclists from the very beginning, and they took the first five places. Mateusz Taciak triumphed before Tomasz Smoleń, Kamil Zieliński, Bartłomiej Matysiak and Sylwester Janiszewski.
