From 7-11 of May the cycling team CCC Polsat Polkowice will participate in 5-stages cycling race, the Tour d’Azerbaijan in 2014.
Yesterday, team CCC Polsat Polkowice consists of 6 cyclists flew to the distant Baku in Azerbaijan. They will from tomorrow (Wednesday, 07.05.) will compete in the Tour d’Azerbaijan 2014 (kat.UCI 2.1).
In the team led by sports director Gabriel MISSAGLIA there are: Pawel Charucki, Josef Cerny, Adrian Honkisz, Piotr Gawronski, Jacek Morajko and Grzegorz Stepniak.
How organizers inform, at the start of a race will be a cycling peloton consisting of 150 riders from 25 cycling teams. Participation were confirmed by 8 teams among them: MTN-Qhubeka, Caja Rural, Neri Sottoli, Androni Giocattoli, Rusvelo, Novo Nordisk, Drapac and CCC Polsat Polkowice.
The route of this year’s race carries through roads where there are steges for both sprinters and climbers. The total length is 838 kilometers and is divided into five stages.

stage 2, 05.08.2014, Baku – Ismayilli, 187 km;
stage 3, 05.09.2014, Qabala – Sheki – Qabala, 180 km;
stage 4, 05.10.2014, Qabala – Shamahi – Pirqulu, 115 km;
stage 5, 11.05.2014, Baku – Nardaran – Baku, 202 km;
Race Tour d’Azerbaijan will be broadcast by Eurosport channel.
