Tomasz Marczyński (CCC Polsat Polkowice) won the Tour of Seoul (2.2UCI). The last stage ended with a victory of Girscha Janorschcke (Team Nutrixxion Sparkase). The highest classified cyclist of the CCC Polsat Polkowice team was Tomasz Smoleń, who finished in the 11th place.
The last stage led from Kintex to the capital of South Korea Seoul and was only 105 km long. The cyclists of CCC Polsat Polkowice controlled the course of events of the race, not allowing any serious actions, which led to the whole peloton’s reaching the finishing line.
The fastest cyclist was the German Girscha Janorschcke, who covered the route in 1 hour 48 minutes and 9 seconds. The second cyclist at the finishing line was his compatriot René Weissinger (Vorarlberg – Corratec). The third place was taken by the Iranian , Hossein Nateghi (Azad University Iran). Smoleń was the best of the Polish cyclists, in the 11th place.
In the general classification the leading was kept until the end by the winner of the first stage, Tomasz Marczyński, who defeated the second cyclist Gyung Gu Jang from Korea by 11 seconds. The third cyclist – Simon Geschke (Skil Shimano) was 1 minute and 42 seconds behind.
There were two more cyclists from Polkowice among the first ten cyclists: Bartłomiej Matysiak and Łukasz Bodnar, who took the 5th and 8th place respectively.
