Leszek Pluciński came in in the main peloton on the penultimate stage of Tour des Fjords and moved up to 12th overall.

How it unfolded
Escape of the day was established after over 30km of racing, when Gijs Van Hoecke (LottoNL-Jumbo), Kevin Van Melsen (Wanty) and Torkil Veyhe (ColoQuick-Cult) pulled away. They built up 7-minute lead, but peloton was gradually closing in on them.
In the final 20 kilometers the breakaway broke in two, with Veyhe holding on in the front. He was still 35 seconds ahead of chasing bunch with 5km to go and entered final kilometer with a small gap over Edvald Boasson Hagen (Dimension Data), who launched a late attack from the pack.
Norwegian caught Dane few hundred meters before the line and took well deserved victory. Veyhe claimed 2nd, while Andrea Pasqualon (Wanty – Groupe Gobert) was the fastest from trimmed peloton. It included Leszek Pluciński, who took 21st place at the line. The bunch was reduced on a punchy climb, with 4km to go.
Dries Van Gestel (Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise) defended his leader jersey, while Pluciński sits in 12th overall.
