The winner of the 24-kilometer time trial that took place during the 2nd stage of the Tour Mediterraneen was a cyclist Blanco Pro Cycling team, Lars Boom.
The next day of the race, during the Tour de Mediterraneen (UCI category 2.1) took place 24 kilometer individual time trial. Tour time trial led the Mediterranean coast of Cap d’Agde to Sete and ended up in the up hill at the Mont Saint Claire. Uphill time trial to the finish was very difficult and additional breezes from the sea meant that the results were quite unexpected.On this very difficult road of individual driving on time, the best cyclist was from Blanco Pro Cycling team, Lars Boom, who covered a distance in time 32 minutes and 25 seconds. About 22 seconds was Maxime Monfrota (Radioshack-Leopard-Trek) and 36 sec. Anthony Roux (FDJ).The best cyclist of CCC Polsat Polkowice was Davide Rebellin, who defeated the distance time trial during the 34 minutes. 55 sec. He took 55 place. A good time got also the Mateusz Taciak. He beat time trial route for 2 min. 48 seconds. worse than the winner Lars Boom and finished 73rd place.Winning the time trial, Lars Boom is the new leader of the race taking the overall leader’s jersey from Andre Greipelowi (Lotto BELISOL).
