Stephen Cummings (BMC) won 4th stage of the Tour Méditerranéen, time trial. About 4 seconds. beat Riccardo Zoidl (Trek Factory Racing) and 10 seconds. Sylvain Chavanel (IAM Cycling).
On Saturday, in the afternoon, was played the fourth stage of the Tour Méditerranéen ( kat.2.1 ), which was the individual time trial. The riders had to overcome 18.2 – kilometer distance from the start and finish in Saint Rémy de Provence. The route time trial was not the most difficult. On the route there were two small uphills.
The fastest cyclists on the time trial of the tour was BMC Racing team cyclist Stephen Cummings. It took him 24 minutes and 27 seconds. About four seconds slower was Ricardo Zoidl from Trek Factory and he took 2nd place.
Among the cyclists CCC Polsat Polkowice team, the fastest time od this ride obtained Davide Rebellin. It took him 25 minutes and 51 seconds. losing to the winner 1 minute and 24 seconds.
After the fourth stage of the race the leader became the winner of the time trial, Stephen Cummings (BMC Racing). Ahead of 4 sec. Riccardo Zoidla and 10 seconds Sylvain Chavane.
Davide Rebellin takes 28th place, losing to the leader 1 minute 24.sek.
