His father was a cyclist and he gave him love to this sport. When he was 11 he abandoned football and decided to be a cyclist. His strong side is riding in the mountains, although, as he admits, he enjoys every race. He won the European track championship medal. Last season he showed good results in Turul Romaniei and Tour of Iran.
